How to use it
Press “Start” to begin. “Lap” records the time since the previous lap and the total elapsed time. Pauses are excluded. After pausing, resume or reset the stopwatch. You can record up to 1,000 laps.
Display and accuracy
The stopwatch displays hundredths of a second and can count beyond 24 hours. This is a display format, not a guarantee of laboratory accuracy. Timing uses the browser’s monotonic clock, so manually changing the system date does not alter the result.

Does the stopwatch run when I switch tabs?
Switching tabs does not pause timing. The display catches up when you return. Keep the device awake: counting time during sleep depends on the system and browser. Refreshing, leaving the page and changing language end the session.
Is my data saved?
This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your input is not sent to a server. Timing and laps remain in this tab’s memory. The tool does not save them in the address. Sharing a link shares only the stopwatch address.
